                            Education:

                            John received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1993, receiving 
                            the Edward Hennessey Scholar distinction and graduating in the top third of his class.  
                            John then went on to obtain an LL.M. in Tax Law in 1994, also from Boston University 
                            School of Law, graduating in the top 25% of that class.  John also obtained his Bachelor’s 
                            Degree in Economics from Boston University, magna cum laude.

  
                            Experience:

                            John’s practice focuses on Corporate Law, Finance Law, Tax Law and Oil and Gas Law. 
                            He has significant experience working on international financial transactions, international 
                            tax issues, and corporate and financial matters. John’s significant corporate experience 
                            ranges from working on private placement transactions to entity selection and creation to 
                            advanced tax planning matters. 

                      John has also worked extensively within the investment management industry on cross-border
                      transactions covering tax and business planning issues and has assisted with feasibility and 
                      due diligence analysis in private equity transactions.

                      In addition, John has been involved with consulting with business professionals on such topics 
                      as foreign exchange forecasting and hedging, risk management as well as efficient cost 
                      containment and budgeting as it relates to international finance projects.

                            John has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1993.
