Scope of Practice

Professor George Hazboun Hazboun, holder of a Ph.D. Degree in Private International Law, worked as a Professor of Law at the University of Jordan.  He also served as President of the American University of Madaba, Dean of the Faculty of Law - The University of Jordan, Visiting Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law - Damascus and at the Law Center - Houston - Texas, during Sabbaticals. Professor Hazboun also served as a Board Member of the Institute of Judiciary Jordan, Lecturer in conflict of laws, International contracts, banking courses at the Housing Bank.

Professor Hazboun has been practicing law since 1979, and specializes in legal issues (Corporate Litigation & Arbitration) related to Business law, Banking, Construct Contracts (FIDIC), Energy & Petroleum , Maritime and Shipping, Corporate, Aviation, ADR and Arbitration.

Professor Hazboun also represents States, Incorporations and Multinationals in his capacity as an attorney.

Professor Hazboun is a member of various international professional institutions such as:

•    The American Arbitration Association (Arbitration Panel)
•    The Canadian Arbitration Center
•    The ICC National Committee, Jordan
•    The ICC Commission on ADR and Arbitration Commission

He is also enlisted as a member of the Jordan Bar Association. Additionally, Professor Hazboun served as a Sole Arbitrator, Member and Chairman of (Arbitration Panels) in many International and Domestic Arbitration Cases.
